When I’m stressed, I catch myself breathing shallowly. Taking the tiniest sip of air as though I’m silently protesting against life and whatever’s throwing me out of alignment. But when I let that breath really fill my belly, the stress begins to dissolve, my energy softens and I see things a little clearer.
Terri Guillemets said: “The wisest one-word sentence? Breathe”.
Try this with me now. Close your eyes, touch your heart and take a deep, full breath in and release. Two more times like that. Notice the subtle shift that you feel.
I call the breath my spiritual superpower. And it's yours too. It’s always there, you just have to tap into it to find your true power.
Your breath has the capacity to calm your nervous system, clear your lens, energise your being, shift your emotions, lighten your soul and awaken your intuition... in an instant.
